		<description><![CDATA[Didn&#8217;t have a lot of time today, woke up late so just 20 minutes. Some improvement in my pace. Felt good - got up actually wanting to get the work out in, needed to burn off some stress from work.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>     Well, I did my 30 minute walk as planned. I covered a little over 1.5mi and my pace sucked, but I expected as much. I look forward to getting faster as the days and weeks go by. I&#8217;m proud that I got it done even though I really wasn&#8217;t feeling it this morning. Of course now I feel better, my muscles are actually tingling. Kinda nice ;-). </p>
<p>     Any way two workouts down, and about 3,000 more to go&#8230;.. Ok, now I&#8217;m getting depressed. (smile). So have a good day and keep on moving&#8230;&#8230;Me

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>     I signed up for sweat 365 some time ago, and FINALLY today I got started w/ my first workout. Just strength training today. I did 1 set of 7-10 reps of 12 different exercises that are designed to work the entire body. I actually learned alot about my level of fitness. Some exercises were very hard, like the reverse curl, push up, and standing side lift. Others were too easy, like the bicep curl, and lateral raise.</p>
<p>     So the next time I do weights which will be on Friday, I&#8217;ll increase the weight on a couple, and maintain the rest as is. Next week I hope to increase to 2 sets of 10 reps. I know it looks like baby steps, but it&#8217;s been along time and I have a long way to go.</p>
<p>     Tomorrow I plan on walking for 30 minutes before work, so I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ll post early. Have a GREAT DAY, and I&#8217;ll type at ya&#8217; later.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>     Today I joined &#8220;Sweat 365&#8243;. Why???&#8230;.. Because, I desperately need to lose weight and get in shape. Because, I want to live life not watch it go by. Because, I want to be comfortable in my own skin. Because, I want to be sexy, strong, and on the run.</p>
<p>     Right now I&#8217;m 100+ pounds overweight, get out of breath climbing one flight of stairs. Change is going to be very hard, but very necessary. </p>
<p>     My plan is to transition from walking to running, over the course of 3 workouts each week. I also want to strength train one to two times per week. I will use this blog to stay accountable (feel free to make comments), and learn from all of you.</p>
<p>     Soooo, here we go&#8230;..</p>
